Chicken Shawarma πŸ˜‹

While at work one night one of my colleagues was amazed with a food stall in the city and could not wait to have a chicken shawarma, I had never heard of it but had a try, now I know why he has so excited to get to the stall. It’s delicious. I’ve since had one from a couple of different places and thoroughly enjoyed them.

A take away can be quite expensive so I thought I would try my hand at making my own, I have a good selection of spices so luckily had everything in the recipe. It said to have it with a pitta but in future I think I would use a wrap instead.

The recipe I used is Here and is well worth a try. Next time I will use my home grown onions and salad!
